Taco Brothers is a Mexican-themed slot machine from Elk Studios. Put aside the fact that calling a group of Mexicans ‘Taco Brothers’ is a little bit offensive, this game is going to be huge amounts of fun to play. Seriously. This is one of our favourite games of all times!
How to Play Taco Brothers Slot
Taco Brothers Slot was released in September 2015, which does make it a touch older than many of the slot machines that we review here at All Gambling Sites.
Don’t worry, it is still going to be great to play. There are 5 reels and 243 paylines on this slot machine. It is a low to medium volatility slot machine. We have no information on what the house edge is. The minimum bet is 10p. The maximum bet is £50.
As you may expect from a slot machine called ‘Taco Brothers’, the game has a Mexican feel to it. If you read our reviews regularly, then you will know that we are not the biggest fan of slot machines which seem to have a bit of a cartoon style to them.
It is not because they are terrible. They are not. It just takes a while for the overall look to grow on us. That being said, we are not fans of hyper realistic games either. We love a bit of a middle ground.

The game itself is simple to play. There are a few more features than your ‘standard’ slot machine. However, none of these features are really going to be all that overwhelming. Honestly, we are confident that this game is going to be great for newer players who are breaking into the world of slots. However, there is still something for the more experienced slot machine player to enjoy. Elk Studios really outdone themselves here.

Regular Wilds:The feature that will be popping up the most is your Wild. This comes in the form of a Golden Bell. As with other slot machines, this wild is going to act as a replacement for any other symbol in the game. It does not act as a replacement for either the safe symbol or the Taco Brothers Wild.
The Taco Brothers Wilds: The second wild is the Taco Brothers Wild. Two of these on the screen will cause the reels to automatically respin. The main reason it does this is to try and give you an extra safe. That being said, we have not experienced that popping up all that much.
Taco Brothers Scatters: If you get three safes (these are your scatters), there will be an explosion on the screen. You will then be awarded a multiplier. This will either be x1, x2, or x3. The game will then take you to a different set of slot machines and the characters move about as you spin. This is a feature which is tough to describe, so we really suggest that you ‘experience’ it yourself so you know what is going on.
