Arcader Slot Review

Thunderkick have been at it again and we're quite impressed with their retro offering; Arcader. Arcader Slot is a new casino slot released by Thunderkick Games, which follows up to their previous slot which was called Flux. Arcader has been designed to take you back in time on a wee nostalgia trip.

Expect to find 16 bit graphics reminiscent of early computer games and monoliths which help form the reels coming out of the frozen ground on some interstellar planet. Arcader is very much based on retro Arcade games and is where it’s name has derived from. The same goes for the soundtrack as well. Arcader is different, retro with a modern Thunderkick twist to it.

How to Play Arcader

Arcader Slot is a 5 reel, 15 pay line slot that’s designed like an old arcade game with a 3D feel to it. As we said, it does look really good and that adds to the excitement of the game as it’s an alternative type of casino slot (Modern yet Retro!)

In the normal play mode, the 15 pay lines pay the wins from left to right. You should look out for some extra features such as the ‘Expander’ which will automatically change the reel symbols to the highest paying symbol - which adds a nice twist to the game and results in more wins for you.

There is also a bonus picking round and free spins bonus round so expect to see more regular slot features such as sticky wilds and scatters during your play. Arcader has an Auto-play Option, and has 1 Max Coins Per Line, with a Minimum Coins Size of 0.2 and Max Coins Size of 100.

Bonus Rounds & Extra Features

Arcader Slot has a Mystery Symbol which add even more excitement to the reels. Landing three or more M Symbols on the reels and it will trigger the Mystery Symbol round. Get to this round and you will be able to pick mystery wins until all prizes are revealed or a blank is picked. Triggering this feature with the maximum possible M scatters will grant prizes with a multiplied value of x6. This means the top picking mystery symbol alone is worth an amazing x100 stake!

Arcader also features bonus rounds as well. When you land three or more B symbols on the reels you’ll trigger the Free Spins round. During this round, the Wilds appear on the 3 central reels and will remain stuck in the same position throughout the duration of the 9 free spins. The more B symbols you get, the pay-out value increases in your favour.

As with most Thunderkick slots, the theoretical RTP (Return to player) for the slot is set to 96.1%. which is quite a juicy payout, not the most as some of Thunderkicks, but still has great value

Arcader Mobile Slot
